Wow what a day. 71 degrees with no humidity. I'll take it. Back on the Emonda. It's been a while. I've been having fun on the 5.9 Madone the last few months. hehe Good times!

Weekend Wrap Up

Busy few days. Time flies! I got out Friday night in Cow Country for a road ride. Another rest day Saturday. Storms rolled in Sunday, but I took a chance. I stole on in Liberty on the fatty. Fun solo 2 hour gravel ride with a few intervals. I pulled in the lot with the storm front ready to hit. I hit the TT bike later Sunday night after the rain. Good stuff!

Fatty BC Wednesday

Hot again. 101 degree real feel. hehe Fun 2 hours at Buck Creek with Buz on the fat bikes. We hit varied terrain from two track, gravel, pavement, & Drainage chutes. Fun stuff!

Blue Streak TT

 Hot hot hot. Raced the fatty again at Blue Streak. It's a lot of work on the pavement. haha I started strongly through the first two gates then tailwind North. Last 3 miles was painful haha. Still faster than last month. Pleased with 20.4 avg. Mad Cow TT's are on the time trial bike. After decades of the same course, once a year on my tt bike at Blue Streak is enough. lol

Brookville Monday

Busy day. Of course the rain rolled in as I headed out to ride. LOL Just couldn't get to MoMBA in time. I stole one around the storm cells in Brookville. 20 miler spin on ,y 2010 rim brake 5.9 Madone. hehe My bikes are all old now. Well, besides my Emonda. I miss the days when you could keep up with the new gear, but inflation sucks. I'll just have to make do with my 9 bikes for decades until I can't ride anymore.

Weekend Wrap Up

Busy weekend. I was able to ride a bit, but sad to miss Strawberry Fest TT today. I had to pick up my Mom who was discharged from Rehab facility after her fall. A lot of my races have conflicts this year. Hoping Fall continues to look good. I got in some TT rides Friday & Saturday. I got out late afternoon today with Josh & Buz at JB. New berms & bridges by the trail crew are killer. Big props! Felt good to get in some single track. Rain is coming tho. Maybe I can steal a trip to MoMBA before the afternoon rain tomorrow. 

MCR TT # 5

 Awesome weather for Mad Cow TT # 5. 28.5 avg. Not bad for an old slow cow. hehe Sean was incredible again with 30.2 mph. Josh 27.5 avg with Buz 19.4 avg on the fatty. Great job Pete, Trevor, & Jordan.
