P-Hill Ramblin' Wednesday

 Windy afternoon, but the rain was gone. 36 miler ramble around P-Hill with Josh. We  worked hard NE up to Gettysburg then tailwind fun back. Fun intervals. Great ride!

Brookville Tuesday

Beautiful day with temps in low 70's. Oh yes more wind. LOL Brookville NE via Verona, Gordon, & Arcanum. I spun up in the wind. 1 effort on Dull Road. 2.16 miles on rough surfaces with 2 S turns. Pretty good effort for the KOM. 30.5 miles plus another 5 miles for my commute. Going to be chilly for a bit. Fat bike tomorrow for sure.

Fatty MoMBA Monday

 I stole one tonight. The rain was coming quickly. I debated driving East to do a road ride, but the storms were moving too rapidly. I hoped for a 30 minute quickie. I ended up with 1 hour 12 minutes. The legs felt good. Last time I rode there in March it was a mud bowl. haha Good tempo workout. I was happy with my climbing in Hawk's Lair. Light rain started around 45 minutes, but it didn't break through the canopy. I did the full race loop plus 5 laps on Hawk's Lair Ridge. I pulled back in the lot just as the rain unleashed. Yeah!

Double Sunday

Back on the bike after a few rest days. I had something working on me as well. I made myself ride and after 20 minutes I felt a lot better. Put in a few efforts on Strava segments. 31 mile road ride with Josh followed by a 20 minute spin on the tt bike.

Fatty Hayes Thursday

Busy day, but got in 2 hours at Hayes. Thanks to Ron for clearing several trees. Still a few down, but it was nice riding there. It reopened last Fall. Love that place. Glad I got tonight in though. Trails are starting to overgrow. Not many volunteers, so who knows if the trails will be cut back for Summer. Spring is ahead of schedule for sure.

Cow Country Wednesday

25 mile recovery ride in Cow Country. The legs weren't too bad after yesterday's race. Back on the 5.9 Madone. Man, what a bike considering it's 16 years old. Well, I bought new in 2020. 105 11 speed rocks! Rudy in the wind was epic as usual. I imagined Keith with me as I accelerated up to Studebaker. Miss those days. Pulled in just in time as the rain was rolling in. Stole another one!
