Closed out 2025 with a few rest days. Easy trainer spin then New Years Eve outside. New Years Day fatty fun with Big Tim, Joshium, & Tebow. Perfect weather! What a year 2025 was. Some great races. Winning some fat bike category & high overall placings gravel races like Three Rivers, Rode to Hell, & Maple Chiller was a blast. My time trialing was respectable. It's not a priority anymore but some fast efforts. 2nd place at Senior Olympics was fun. MTB racing has taken a back foot compared to previous years. 12 hours of Iron Maiden in Alabama with T.Bolt & Joshium was hot. I mean lava hot. 5th Place team tho. I won the JB 6 hour Fat Bike. Bummer Fast Laps isn't a TT format like it used to be. XC style doesn't motivate me otherwise I would have those races in. I've raced everything around here and the courses don't change, so have to look out of state for new challenges. This year Josh & I are racing the Wausau 12 hour in Wisconsin. I may do a 6 hour in February in Alabama coming home from Florida. I'll have to see if I do anything else. My gig's conflict with a lot of races this year, so it might be a lighter racing schedule. Black Fork is back on as is Funk Bottoms. Those will be more training rides with Buz then racing them but that's ok too. Fun doing that style too. As usual MCR TT series will be my priority. Early Blue Streak TT's on the TT bike then I'll race Fat Bike. I have a few Gravel races selected. Hoping a few aren't cancelled. Time will tell. Looking forward to it.
